Loud and Clear

Stand Tall!

Growing up the oldest of five girls I was not the smartest in the bunch by far. God was so kind to give me a dad that spoke in a way that I could understand and remember.

He kept things basic when it came to love, life and living for Jesus. However, how he lived showed me what he was saying loud and clear!

Every single word of instruction my dad spoke to me was demonstrated either before or after the fact:

  • People who are Hardest to Love Need Love the Most!

  • Treat People with Respect!

  • Put the Needs of Others Before Your Own!

  • Be Honest!

  • You Are Unique DON'T Try to Be Like Everyone Else!

  • Don't Seek Revenge!

  • As SOON as You Catch Yourself Doing Something Wrong, Go Back, Apologize and Seek Forgiveness!

  • Pray About Everything!

  • You Won't be able to Please People All the Time! You Won't Even be able to Please Me All the Time! Concentrate on Pleasing the Lord!

  • Have a Grateful Heart! Say Thank You to Show Your Appreciation!

  • If You Have Something to Say that is Less Than Encouraging, Don't Write It, Say It In Love!

  • Share the Gospel Every Chance You Have!

  • When You Pray Expect God to Answer!

  • Obey What God Tells You to Do!

  • Live Out Your Convictions for the Lord!

  • Have a Plan BUT Leave Room for the Lord to Change It!

  • God is Bigger than My Enemy!

  • Don't Quit Because Something is Hard!

  • Be Generous and Willing to Sacrifice for Others!

  • Give Your Very Best Effort to The Glory of God!

  • Spend Daily TIME Reading the Bible and Praying!

  • Give BIG Hugs!

  • Give even BIGGER SMILES!

The Lord knew that I would learn best by observing! He gave me the opportunity to grow up being loved and coached by the best dad for me! Thank you for all the truths you impressed on my heart! Actions Speak Louder Than Words! I heard you loud and clear! Thank you Dad I love you!

Deuteronomy 6:6-7

And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.
