Jealous

Joe and Jessa I admired two friends so much that I actually told them that I was "jealous" of them. I know that this is not a popular thing to say but it was intended to be a sincere compliment. I have always enjoyed watching people light up when they were in their element. These two friends were electric and I wanted them to know they impacted me!

Annie and Jill possess skills, talents, creativity, and personalities beyond me! I would never be able to be like them if I had two lifetimes to practice! When I watched them I was in awe! God gifted them in such a way that they had a tremendous impact on the stage and then connected with people one on one with incredible wisdom and insight. They lived fully in all that God had created them to be! I wanted to be like them because I admired the way they lived!

Today I am watching everyone around live their lives around me! I'm in the ALS section of the audience. To be honest with you I am "jealous" of way more people! For example, when the Brinbergs visited us I watched them play Frisbee Golf around our property. I fully enjoyed the game because Karen played with enough enthusiasm, joy and energy for the both of us! To watch someone live full and free is a beautiful LIGHT show! People will always be watching you and the way you live. Live so that people are "jealous" of you, Jesus in you!

Matthew 5:14-16

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
