Complete

Jessa you cracked me up when I asked you to tell me about your day was at school. You responded with, "Single People Awareness Day"! That is what your teacher used to describe Valentine's Day. I laughed because it was a witty description, however, at the same time it highlighted the painful reality! There are many people who are single by choice but there are others who find themselves alone and their hearts are breaking!
When I was at a singles Bible study the passage that we discussed was Colossians 2 Verse 10 stated that I was COMPLETE in Jesus! I don't think I could tell you anything else I heard that night! I was gripped! Complete, whole and full! Jesus is the one who completed me! He is the only one who could meet my needs.

No one looks forward to experiencing abandonment, loss, or feeling inadequate, insecure, or lonely. In an effort to avoid these feelings it is common to seek companionship from those who are complimentary, comfortable, and compatible. God knows that apart from Jesus we will never be complete! It is vital for me to focus that I am complete in Jesus, whole and full, or I will end up expecting others to make that happen!
Jessa, look around and notice the people who are able to accept who they are, compliment others, admit their faults, and love others. They understand that they are complete in Jesus! Please pray for the ones who don't know!
Colossians 2:10 amp.
And in Him you have been made complete [achieving spiritual stature through Christ], and He is the head over all rule and authority [of every angelic and earthly power].
